Bobby Parker and Memphis Gold just returned from a brief trip into Sweden, where they both performed incredible shows at the big Monsteras Blues Festival, Bobby headlining Friday night. They earned themselves standing ovations by fans, press and media representatives alike. Welcome back Bobby and Chet.

I like the fact that he's a real bluesman and can play and sing with soul!  Album contains great vocals, tasteful guitar solo's and slow blues, good performance, I enjoyed it!

Bruce Iglauer, Alligator Records & Artist Mgmt.,Inc

Prodigal Son CD:  "It is straight from the heart and right to your soul is what Memphis gives you. When you hear his singing, it is smooth and rich, Someone you can listen to for a long time, great singer and one superb guitarist!"

PRODIGAL SON receives FIVE STARS on the ROOTS MUSIC REPORT. This blues man can sing! Blues never felt this good.

"I have scoured the bushes high and low for any home blues talent worthy of recognition, how could anyone of such caliber slip through the cracks"

--Larry Benecewiz, Music Monthly

"Memphis gold invariably evokes the vintage sounds of southern soul and blues and further reveals his golden knack for resuscitating southern musical traditions without ever hitting an emotional false note, either as a singer or a guitarist."

--Mike Joyce, The Washington Post
